Chessboxing is a sport that combines boxing and chess. Participants compete in alternating rounds of quick chess and boxing until one of the two wins in one of the two disciplines or gives up.
You can win by knockout during boxing rounds or by checkmate during chess rounds.
This sport was invented by French artist Enki Bilal and adapted by Dutch artist Iepe Rubingh as a performance art. [1]

Lo scacchipugilato è uno sport che combina la boxe e gli scacchi. I partecipanti si sfidano in round alternati di scacchi rapidi e boxe fino a che uno dei due non vince in una delle due discipline o si arrende.
Si può vincere per knockout durante i round di boxe o per scacco matto durante i round di scacchi.
Questo sport è stato inventato dall‘artista francese Enki Bilal e adattato dall‘artista olandese Iepe Rubingh come una performance artistica. [1]
