The tourist information centre is located inside Palazzo del Turismo, the building that dates back to 1938 when it opened as the first place on the Adriatic coast dedicated to tourism advertising. The harbour is a special place for enjoying the sea to the utmost at sunset or at dawn, seated in a cafe or in a fish restaurant, or simply on a solitary bench.

WE ARE TAKING YOU TO SAN MARINO: the tiny, oldest Republic in Europe. San Marino gives its visitors the unique feeling of being both in Italy and abroad. According to the legend, the founding dates to 301 D.C.: in this year Saint Marino created a little Christian community on Mount Titan. Since then, the mount and the city are independent, and never became part of Italy.
